Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego

The Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego came to sitebyMIKE with a challenge, their existing website platform was being retired at the end of the year. They needed to have their site migrated to a new, future-proof Content Management (CMS) platform, but they wanted the site to still feel similar to their old website.

I got to work creating a design that incorporated the feeling of their old site, but added many newer, modern design elements. The new site looks like an evolution to their previous site instead of a complete replacement.

The new site is built on a WordPress Optimized hosting plan and features playful headers to entice parents and students to browse the site, expanded and redesigned content, beautifully responsive layouts, enhanced Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and streamlined image assets for fast delivery.
