Zion Lutheran Church in Elgin reached out to sitebyMIKE to help them upgrade their website. It was on a very old theme on an outdated version of WordPress and wasn’t taking advantage of many features available in a modern WordPress framework. They had a ton a well written content, and a blog full of articles, but the presentation wasn’t effectively communicating everything they do in the community and have to offer.

sitebyMIKE leveraged a fast and highly customizable theme framework that displays beautifully on all devices. This will help their Search Engine Optimization as the old site did not display well on mobile devices.

We enhanced the display of their blog archives, embedded their event calendar on the home page, made their facebook service live streams easily findable and added tons of photos to show potential visitors the beauty of their church.
